Hmm....Bryan.... =) He's the hyperactive one of the group, the 3rd child. Very outspoken kid who is not afraid to voice out opinions. I just hope that slight restrain will come with age. Lol, I was playing a game of tetris with him and he never failed to remind me how much I suck in the game.

He's the kind of kid that every photographer would love-expressive and bold. I really had fun with him and his sibling at the playground. Made me feel like a small kid again =) Sometimes they forget that I'm their uncle!

Cassandra is the lady of the bunch. As the second child I can say that she is as mature as Aaron, only 1 year younger. She just reminds me of Audrey Hepburn....

If you're wondering how I have Indian relatives, my cousin on my mom's side married an Indian, so there you go! These kids are mixed Iban/Indian (I'll explain further someday for those who are still lost).

Lol, I'm rushing this through! Been typing this on the last day I would be around. Just a heads up to those who are new here! I have been away for National Service since 19 March 2009 and will be back on the 8th of June.

What can I say about Aaron? Being the oldest, he's typically more responsible than his younger siblings, which is good! A young boy with a pretty mature attitude.

Me the Uncle

Before I went off for National Service, I had a small get together with my aunties and cousin. Got to meet my nieces and nephews! So when there are kids+Stanley=photo op! HAHaha, I was more than happy to be dragged down to the playground to look after them. Got loads of nice shots of them!

You'll be seeing much of these 4 kids on this site-Aaron, Bryan, Cassandra, and Dionne.

Kids of Rumah Sayangan part 4

This post is dedicated to one small little girl named Grace. She is the drama queen, actress, cute little minx and plain adorable.

She really is an outspoken little girl. And of all the kids in Rumah Sayangan, she is the only one who is not afraid of the camera. Just look at the pictures below =)

David Archuleta Came to My School but I Was Not There

Photobucket

The title says enough. The guy that I followed on tv for 3 months, actually came to my school, and I was not there. HAhah, yes its my school but I'm not studying there anymore. I graduated last year! Sophia, the sister however is the lucky one as she got to meet him up close.

I came back from National Service for a short break two days ago and my mom was going "Oh, your sister will be meeting David Archuleta in school today". My first reaction was "What????". Apparently, they won this radio contest held by Hitz.fm where the school with the highest votes on their website will have Mr. Archuleta in their school.

Call him a sissy boy or whatever. All I care about is that this guy can sing, and he does it damn well.

Check this video out. The Malaysians practically mobbed him when he arrived at the airport! Yeah, we're quite crazy about American Idol. Hei! I think he's the first American Idol contestant to ever visit us in Malaysia!

Now here's the clip of him singing in my school. HAhaha, my sister was SO happy and it was obvious when she came back home. That little girl was smiling all the way.

Kids of Rumah Sayangan part 2

Photobucket

Photobucket
This is Derrick, another one of my students. Sweet and soft spoken little guy. Had 'trouble' finishing his homework at first but the Rumah Sayangan staff straightened it out =) Really smart kid though.

Photobucket
Peter, another kid with loads of potential. I wonder why his teachers don't see it in him. This reminds me of an article I have read recently on how teacher can just give up on their students by being ignorant.

I however am inspired by teachers portrayed in movies where they turn their student's life around (etc Music of the Heart starring Meryl Streep and Mr Holand Opus).

More pictures of the kids. I don't teach all of them so I don't remember all their names. By the way, for those who do not know I am still away at National Service and this has been pre-posted!
